Look at Sheffield differently this Autumn πŸ‚

Perfect timing. Autumn’s here, Sheffield looks incredible, and you’ve been thinking about that team outing/friend gathering/family adventure that needs organizing. Good news: we’ve already done the hard work. The route’s planned, the clues are set, and those golden autumn days are calling.

Here’s something different for your group.

You know those hidden details in Sheffield that most people walk straight past? We’ve built a trail around them. Your crew will discover things like the god of metalworking, perched up high – the kind of spots that make people say “How long has that been there?” Trust us, even the locals on your team won’t have noticed half of this.

How it actually works πŸ΄β€β˜ οΈ

No tour guide, no rigid schedule, no shuffling in a line. It’s self-guided – you set the pace, choose your stops, keep things flowing. Everyone gets the clues on their phones from Captain Bess (our pirate guide who keeps things moving). You can split into teams if you want some friendly competition, or stick together. Your call.

The details you need ☠️

Built for adults and takes between 2–3 hours depending on your pace (and pub stops – we’ve marked the good ones). The clues are properly challenging – enough to get people working together without anyone feeling lost.

You’ll follow treasure maps on your phones, solve cryptic clues that actually make sense once you crack them, and discover parts of Sheffield that’ll genuinely surprise people. Captain Bess keeps everyone engaged with messages that hit the right balance between helpful and entertaining. It just… works.

β€œWe booked the Hunt for a corporate 'team-bonding' event and we can safely say it did just that! We had approximately 40 attendees who were split into groups and given staggered start times. The leader board added an extra competitive edge which kept everyone on their toes. All in all would very much recommend and if a second Sheffield game is created it would be something we would do again *****”

Why it works for groups 🀝

You know what makes a good team activity? Something where everyone contributes, nobody’s checking their phone (except for clues), and there’s natural conversation starters built in. That’s this.

Book it, share the link, turn up. We send you an organiser’s pack that covers everything – meeting points, timing suggestions, leaderboards. The route’s accessible and there are natural break points if people need them. Full details for team organizers here πŸ“‹.

Quick logistics: Works for 2-100+ people, rain or shine. Most groups between 2–3 hours including stops. Questions? We’ll sort it.

“Was really fun, friends from Sheffield discovered places/things they had never seen before,so surprised us all!! Lovely walk around and learnt lots too. Plenty of opportunities to stop off for drinks/food, so can make it as long/short as you like. πŸ‘πŸ‘”
